Haleigh Rosa's story begins in the sunny and vibrant landscape of South Florida. From a young age, Haleigh was captivated by local news, watching the anchors and reporters with admiration. Her fascination with journalism sparked a dream – to one day become a news anchor herself. This passion drove her to pursue a degree in journalism at Indiana University.

After graduating, Haleigh returned to South Florida to intern at WPBF 25 News, a local West Palm Beach news station. Her dedication and hard work paid off, and she eventually secured a position at the station. This experience laid a solid foundation for her future in journalism.

Haleigh's journey then led her to Minot, North Dakota, a smaller market where she could hone her skills on-air. Although far from the familiarity of home, Minot became a place of growth and camaraderie. Haleigh cherished the friendships she made and the invaluable lessons she learned about live reporting and anchoring.

After about a year in Minot, Haleigh and her friends decided to go skiing one weekend. The drive was picturesque, with clear blue skies overhead. However, their journey took a tragic turn when they hit black ice. The car rolled over, and Haleigh was ejected, leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. The accident marked a significant turning point in her life.

Despite the life-altering accident, Haleigh's resilience and determination remain unwavering. She continues to inspire others with her story of perseverance and passion for helping others. Haleigh's journey from South Florida to the snowy roads of North Dakota is a testament to her strength and dedication to her dreams.
